We’ve been providing exceptional dental care to the residents of Austin since 1957. Since taking over ownership of the practice, Dr. Bruce W. Jay has renamed the practice Treaty Oak Dental to honor the long history of this practice and its foundational roots right here in Austin, Texas.

As many of you know, the Treaty Oak is the last surviving member of a grove of fourteen live oak trees (named the Council Oaks) in what is now Central Austin. Legend has it that the Council Oaks served as a sacred meeting place where, prior to European settlement of the area, leaders of Native American tribes met. It is also said that Stephen F. Austin met local Native Americans in that grove to negotiate and sign Texas’ first boundary treaty.

Treaty Oak Dental has a strong history and deep roots here in Austin. Under our new ownership, we will continue to nourish the practice and provide exceptional care to all of our patients. We will grow and remain strong in the community, becoming a premier dental practice.

At Treaty Oak Dental, you and your welfare are our top priority. We are dedicated to continuing to be a central location for all of your dental needs. We will grow with Austin, and we will grow with you.

Had a great experience at Treaty Oak Dental as a new patient. Tina did an excellent cleaning and Dr. Jay was kind and is very experienced.

First time visit was excellent. Staff made me feel comfortable and explained thoroughly their approach to my dental care. Would give 5 stars if this wasn’t my first visit. So far, best dentist office I’ve been to.

As far I as I am aware of, best dentist in Austin and I have been to many. He has been my doctor for about 15 years. Excellent, dependable, professional service.
